The Bubbles Review is a multi-award-winning blog and website showcasing information on the enjoyment of drinking Champagne and Sparkling Wine. Founded by Australian entrepreneur, international best-selling author, and sparkling wine lover Natalie Pickett.
Since launching in October 2016, The Bubbles Review has enjoyed excellent engagement from our target audience. Our social media reach averages between 20,000 and 30,000 per month, to more than 500,000 per month during promotions. Our reach to date in 2024 is more than 1.5Mil. The Bubbles Review has an active, engaged and expanding subscriber base of around 3,000 and around 10,000 loyal followers on social media. The Sparkling Cellar Doors features attract an audience long after publishing date, as our followers use these as a destination planning tool.
The Australian sparkling wine market continues to grow, with around 40 million bottles of Aussie Sparkling consumed annually. Wine Intelligence has forecast that there will be continued strong growth of sparkling wines over the coming years. Australian wine consumers are also increasingly looking for diversity in wine offerings, and are becoming familiar with alternative varieties and looking for new discoveries. Tourism Australia lists Food and Wine experiences are a key driver for destination choice for domestic and international visitors to Australia. The key target market is the High Yield Traveller segment, whose experience of a destination starts well before they travel as they seek information on a destination as part of their experience. The Sparkling Cellar Doors Australia book will meet demand as an aspirational ‘armchair’ travel experience, a travel planner for choosing destinations, and a beautiful feature on the coffee table at home.
Leveraging Natalie’s international best-selling publishing successes and more than 30 years of highly regarded experience in international marketing for the tourism industry. This book will position each of the Cellar Doors included as a ‘must see’ for sparkling winery visitors. The book will reach audiences in Australia, UK, Europe, USA, Canada, Asia, New Zealand and beyond.
Enjoy the prestige of being on this exclusive list of the top sparkling cellar doors in Australia. Use this book in your own marketing and enjoy the added return on investment through your own book sales at your Cellar Door.

What’s a High Yield Traveller?
Tourism Australia has embarked on a journey to transition from predominantly demographically defined and based target audiences across markets, to a global behavioural and attitudinal target audience. This transformation is underpinned by the development of the High Yield Traveller (HYT), (previously identified as High Value Traveller (HVT) segment). The HYT segment have above-average trip expenditure. They have a higher likelihood of staying longer, dispersing further and travelling to regional areas. HYTs are empowered and increasingly knowledgeable about the world around them. They know what they want, when they want it and where they want to get it. As such, HYTs view knowledge about a destination as fundamental to an enriching travel experience. That experience starts well before they board a ship or plane, but rather as they seek out and discover new travel content online.
When it comes to travel, HYTs prefer authentic holidays where they can experience the local culture and get a taste of everyday life. With their eyes, ears and mind wide open, they travel to expand their horizons to become more knowledgeable of the world we live in. This means getting a taste for everything from the local cuisine to the natural surroundings – especially when it’s a destination they’ve not travelled to before.
High yield travellers rank good food and wine as a key driver when choosing a holiday destination.
Are books still a good investment?
Print book sales in the US grew 34% over the past 10 years.
The biggest category in print is adult non-fiction, accounting for 38% of all print book sales.
The Australian book industry is in a strong position with annual sales of around 50-plus million books to a total value of close to one billion dollars. Independent bookstores represent just over 26 per cent of the print book market in Australia with chain and online-only stores representing around 44 per cent of the market. Discount department stores are the next great growth areas for bookselling with 29.8 per cent of the market at the moment. Our marketing strategy includes promoting to all sectors.
The online and traditional platforms that we currently use have access to over 40,000 retailers including Barnes and Noble (US), Target and Walmart (US), Waterstones (UK), Angus and Robertson (Australia), Libraries, Schools and Universities. The books will be listed on global online bookstores such as Amazon, Booktopia, and other leading marketplaces including USA, Canada, UK, Singapore and New Zealand.
